Love in this instance happened to be the color purple in this stunning flower at the Denver Botanic Gardens.

In the Clouds

My mind is often off in the clouds as my numerous sky shots will attest. The light put on an amazing show this particular evening. I’m lucky to have a balcony that faces west toward the Front Range mountains.

Pretty Baby

Splash

Illuminated fountain cycles through purple, green and blue early one morning at the Denver Botanic Gardens. The water contains dark blue dye that often looks black.

Up Close

Jamie is a lovely model with whom I worked for several hours last week. She lives in Golden, Colorado and jumps horses as part of her dressage routines. This shot was taken in a sandstone archway using two flashes.

Architecture

Hamilton Wing of the Denver Art Museum after a day of shooting amidst a bustling crowd of fair goers; for a change of pace, opted for plain and simple.
